Optimal Pregnancy and Postpartum Wellness: Recommended Chiropractic Care Frequency
Chances are, if you’re reading this, you’re pregnant... Congratulations! Pregnancy is such a transformative journey and I’m so happy you’re exploring pregnancy chiropractic. Prenatal Chiropractic not only supports a healthier and more active pregnancy, but its contributions to proper pelvic alignment can help facilitate a smoother delivery and potentially reduce the duration of labor. By ensuring that the pelvis is properly aligned, chiropractors can help create the optimal environment for a baby to engage and descend into the birth canal.
What is the Goal of Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy?
As your body is changing, BCR (Balance Chiro and Rehab) will be there to help explain the why behind some of these shifts, what you can do to prevent common pregnancy woes such as pelvic pain, provide recommendations for working out throughout pregnancy, and even provide individualized provider recommendations such as pelvic floor therapists and lactation consultants. The overall goal of prenatal care is to empower you with at-home care recommendations so YOU can take charge of your pregnancy.
When to Start Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy:
When it comes to starting chiropractic care during pregnancy, there’s no such thing as too soon! Treatments are INCREDIBLY gentle and help to not only improve birth outcomes, but help moms to feel better through their pregnancy and postpartum journies. Prenatal Chiropractic is a safe and effective therapy during pregnancy and Dr. Dani has extensive training and over 11 years of experience supporting moms and babies.
